You can add a degree symbol in Excel in two ways.

**Using Keyboard Shortcut**: Place the cursor where you want the symbol, then press `Alt`

+ `0176`

on the numeric keypad.
**Using the Symbol Menu**: Go to the "Insert" tab, click "Symbol", select the degree symbol (°) from the list, and click "Insert".

You can aslo insert a degree symbol using these two methods:

**Using Formula**: Type `=CHAR(176)`

to insert the degree symbol in a cell.
**Using Copy-Paste**: Copy the degree symbol (°) from a source and paste it into the desired cell in Excel.
